Dr Stella Botchway

Dr Stella Botchway, author and doctor.

I pressed pause a few weeks ago and had a conversation with my school friend, Stella.

Dr Stella Botchway is also an author and doctor. Stella studied medicine at the University of Oxford and was an Early Career Fellow at The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities.

We attended secondary school together and reconnected again after I wrote about Stella in one of my stories; Or sit down.

Dr Stella Botchway recently wrote her first children’s book, Heroes of the Pirate Ship, from her book series, Magic Faces, under the pen name, Esi Merleh.

We chatted about our school years, Stella’s career, and her book, published by UCLan Press.

I’m super proud of Dr Stella Botchway

Listen to our conversation.
